Neglect

As always, I get all gung-ho on creating a blog for myself, then leave it alone. I usually make these kinds of posts like three months after my last one, but this time, four days is too much. I was going to commit myself to this, so I have to stick with it. Therefore – four days is too much of a hiatus!

Anyway, I spent all weekend relaxing. I tried to keep myself out of working, out of school, and even out of gaming for the most part. All I did was watch movies the whole weekend now that we have Uverse at home and every single movie channel with it. Last night I did my second episode of the Loser’s Bracket, and actually talked a little.

Outside of that, I started playing a little League of Legends with @zsta2k7 and @tylermakesmusic and actually am having a lot of fun with it. I remember in 2009 when I was watching Starcraft on the main stage in China at the WCG Grand Finals, and I thought, “What in the hell is going on up there…I will never play this game.” Then last year in Los Angeles at the Grand Finals I was watching League of Legends on the main stage, and I thought, “What the hell is going on up there…I will never play this game.” Sure enough – I now primarily play Starcraft 2 and League of Legends. I’m not good at either, but I do have fun with both of them, and that’s what really counts, right?

Speaking of gaming…

A couple of big announcements coming soon as far as gaming is concerned. As I move on to graduate in less than two weeks (WOOT), it’s time to start thinking of the things I really WANT to do, and how I can accomplish them. Nothing I’m doing now is really accomplishing that as far as gaming. Don’t get me wrong, I like some of what I’m doing, but it’s time to take a more narrow approach at doing exactly what I want, and I think I have lined up some ways to do that. Also look for me, @zsta2k7, and @rgoldmine to announce something soon. A lot is going to change in the next 2-3 weeks.

Other than gaming, I’m simply counting down the days to graduation. I only have six days left of class, then it’s time to take my degree and run as fast as I can. Only bad thing is – I have no job to run to. If anyone needs a media/content specialist, just let me know – I’m available!

I’m also looking forward to going to New York in a month. More on that later.

So much happening, so little time…

Back to League of Legends.
