2015 High School Playoff Round 4 Preview & Predictions

We’re down to 26 teams left as Class 7A gets a break this week before the Super 7 starts next Wednesday. 24 other teams will compete for their shot to play at Bryant-Denny stadium next week and claim the coveted blue map from the AHSAA.

I’ll give a Super 7 preview next week as I get ready to head to Tuscaloosa to cover all the games live on ALPreps.

Here are the Class 1A-6A predictions. Because of the holidays and being extremely sick right now, I’m not going to go in depth on the games, but I will be giving analysis and highlights all night Friday night as we pick the best from the north and the south in each classifications.

I will say, there are five champions still alive for a repeat: Clay-Chalkville (6A), St. Paul’s (5A), Leeds (4A), Fyffe (2A), Maplesville (1A). The other two champs from last year, Hoover (7A) and Madison Academy (3A) both lost last week.

Class 5A

St. Paul’s at Jackson
Mortimer Jordan at Alexandria

Class 4A

Class 3A
